Mothin Ali, the Deputy leader of the Green Party, claimed that the Greens had “unofficial pacts” with the Workers Party of Britain, I can exclusively reveal for thebainsagenda.com.
In a Leeds Green Party WhatsApp chat dated from March 2025, seen by myself, members discussed potential electoral pacts with the party ran by George Galloway.
Some members pushed back against such an idea:
At 10:48pm Mothin said “There’s been lots of unofficial pacts with the workers party up and down the country”:
The Workers Party of Britain is run by George Galloway, the controversial figure who had previously ran for parliament for the Respect Party in the 2000s. Galloway is an self imposed exile in Russia and said “Gay People Aren’t ‘Normal” in an interview with Novara Media. It should be noted that the leader of the Green Party, Zack Polanski, is an openly gay man.
Mothin and Adnan did not respond to my right of reply but it became evident that Mothin knows who I am given he blocked me on Instagram and X.
Leeds Green Party sent out this internal message after I published my last story:
Mothin was again contacted for comment and again didn’t respond. I remain blocked on Instagram and X.
