About

My goal in life and career is to do good and seek the truth, which is why I have chosen to be an independent journalist and work outside the corporate media to create my own content and I want to collaborate with those who feel like I do.

The creation of this website, the articles and my social media are all my own work; there has been no outside funding or help, no prior contacts and I have done this all for free for the public interest.

The same can be said for my social media – you can find my YouTube and TikTok links via this website or search The Bains Agenda. Bains Agenda Desi is my related channel focusing on anti-racism and identity issues.

I have no ties to any political party, state, mainstream media corporation or company telling me what to do.

That makes me different to mainstream media journalists and gives me more freedom and, in my opinion, credibility.

You can find my bylines in various independent media outlets and my own original articles on this website by clicking the Bylines and Home tabs respectively.

I consider myself someone on the centre left and a humanist so I have some guiding principles but ultimately I use my knowledge of history and politics to think for myself and try my best to understand ordinary people.

The mainstream media is billionaire owned and fundamentally designed to protect power.

I am incredibly proud of my achievements so far in a short space of time, having only graduated in 2025 and without any outside aid, and I intend to keep going.

I also own humanismfortoday.wordpress.com and run a separate page for humanism which was my university final project with 8 interviews and, likewise with the Bains Agenda – I am on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok under the same name.

I don’t ask for donations, so if you want to help me out – just follow me on social media and write a nice comment!

Enjoy and feel free to get in touch on amunbains1@proton.me for media appearances or, frankly, if you just want to chat about my work.
