Trump’s popularity is the fault of the media and the Democrats.

Rather than blame the voters (which is never a good idea if you want their vote) let’s look at the real cause.

Trump, just like Farage in UK, is over platformed by our mainstream media.

He also has the benefit of seeming like the insurgent fighting the evil elites.

A similar thing happens in the UK, we are just blind to it and arrogant that we are better than Americans.

The existence of an otherwise untalented man such as Tommy Robinson in the UK is that, like Trump, he can claim to be an insurgent fighting the “deep state” because he is thrown in jail and can cry foul that it’s evidence of the elites out to get someone who is for the masses.

Clinton called Trump fans ‘deplorables’, Biden called them ‘trash’.

They, just like the ‘progressives’ in the UK, sneer and look down on poor, uneducated people.

Then cry foul when there is a backlash.

This has and will happen to me too. The modern left in UK/USA is middle class and out of touch with reality and sneering.

A big example is immigration; so many on the modern left would rather label it as the deplorable views of knuckle dragging idiots than deal with what voters want.

Immigration from the US to UK is the single biggest issue to voters, doesn’t matter whether you like it or not.

Being a leftist as I am and coming up against these systems is infuriating; my side is out of touch, whiny, elitist and intolerant but the right is against all my principles and morals.

Trump was a warning of what happens when you call people stupid for voting a certain way (even if they are stupid).

Now we will suffer the consequences of America, let’s avoid it for the UK.
